I posted a few weeks ago that I was reading The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and was very unsure of what I thought about it. I just finished it about 20 minutes ago and I have to say that it was fantastic. It was honestly unlike anything I’ve ever read before. It was original. It was heartwarming. It was heartbreaking. It was humorous. It was tragic. It was great.
I just felt like I needed to post and retract what I originally said about it because the farther along I got into it, the more and more I loved it. I can’t believe this was the author’s first novel, but I’m interested to see what she comes up with next.
I’m still unsure of the movie. I don’t think I’ll end up seeing it because I just don’t think the movie can do the story justice. So…we’ll see.
Next up is The Catcher in the Rye, which I never had to read in school but it’s one of Alex’s favorite books so I decided to give it a chance.
