My name is Siobhan and I’m your typical 20-something girl currently living in Birmingham, AL. My story is the same ol’ story of a person who graduates college and goes off and gets a full time 9-5 job, which for creative people is essentially the same thing as selling your soul to the devil. So, here I am, trying to find my creativity again.
The title “Strong Words, Softly Spoken” comes from the title of an album by Tony Lucca. I know the phrase has been used in other places, but that’s where my inspriation comes from. For me it just fits. I’m a girl who has a ton to say but I have a hard time finding the voice to say them. This blog is me finding that voice.
So, why my own blog? Because I need my own outlet. This blog is simply my place to create, in whatever form that takes. My goal is not to really plan much of what I write and just post whatever flows out in its raw form. So, the content of this blog is likely to be as negative as it is positive and I want people to be able to read my words and hopefully find some way to relate.
I’m into music, books & film, so besides my not-so-interesting life you’ll probably hear most from me about those 3 topics.
